SILICONE EDGE GRAPHICS (SEG) ARE TAKING OVER!
Silicone Edge Graphics (or SEG) are everywhere these days. You may even have seen them without knowing you did. They are in airports, malls, retail stores, offices…
MALL GRAPHICS FOR MACERICH AT TYSONS CORNER CENTER
CSI was approached recently to install some mall graphics for Macerich at the newly constructed Plaza at Tysons Corner Center. This project was over 10 years in the making and is on schedule to be completed by April of 2015…

STADIUM SIGNAGE FOR THE WASHINGTON KASTLES

POLITICAL EVENT GRAPHICS FOR THE WHITE HOUSE
Take a look at these political event graphics we produced for the White House, the Department of Labor and the Center For American Progress. All of this material was for the White House Summit On Working Families recently held here in Washington, DC. CSI produced and installed the graphics for Chris Wayne & Associates, a major event management and marketing firm in the DC area.
OUTDOOR MESH BANNERS FOR COORS AT NATIONAL HARBOR
Here’s a slightly different look at the outdoor mesh banners we produce. A few weeks ago we showed you some large outdoor mesh banners for StreetSense DC. This time around, you get to see the manufacturing process and the final result. This is one of a few big outdoor mesh banners for Coors Light that we have produced and installed for National Harbor. What looks so large inside our facility looks, well, pretty average when hung on the outside of a building. Still, it’s interesting to see the banner in both places, don’t you think?
FABRIC STEP AND REPEAT BANNERS ARE EVERYWHERE!
Here’s another example of a product we are seeing a lot of recently: fabric step and repeat banners. Step and repeat banners are also known as back walls, popups or just about any other name. They can be made out of fabric, vinyl, or even plain paper. The term step and repeat banner comes from the old desktop publishing days. A company logo would often be repeated many times over to make sure that it shows up in any photographs taken in front of it. You will see such step and repeat banners at press conferences, public events, and also many sporting events. These days, not every one actually has a step and repeat image, but the name has stuck and is still a popular way of referring to them.
OUTDOOR FABRIC FLAGS FOR DELMARVA
These outdoor fabric flags are produced on our 10′ dye-sub fabric printer and then sewn in a variety of shapes and sizes. We produced 2 of these outdoor flags for DelMarVA Board Sport Adventures. The photo below shows a 2-sided teardrop shape that is roughly 9′ tall, but you can use the same pole for a feather shape as well. We can produce these outdoor fabric flags either single- or double-sided. We also have a variety of mounting options including a ground stand, ground spike, ground screw, and more.
CUSTOM WALLPAPER FOR AMERICA EATS TAVERN
Here is a really amazing example of custom wallpaper we printed and installed for America Eats Tavern, located in the Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner. Whenever we are approached to produce graphics for walls, we always discuss several options with our clients. In some cases, adhesive vinyl is the best option. Vinyl is normally laminated, allowing for the surface to be easily cleaned and protected against damage. This is great in high-traffic areas. However, there are often challenges with vinyl: the quality of the wall, as well as the appearance and necessity of overlaps.
MESH BUILDING BANNERS FOR STREETSENSE DC
Whenever you see a mesh banner on the side of a building, you probably think to yourself “that doesn’t look so big.” But when you see the same mesh building banner inside, THAT seems to be different. For some reason, seeing these indoors makes them look bigger. It’s like looking at a television in the store and then having it be that much bigger once you get it home and installed in your room. We are producing two 30′ x 50′ mesh building banners for Streetsense DC to promote Downtown Crown, a new development in Gaithersburg, MD. Check out the photos to see how huge these things are. And to think, these are some of the smaller building banners we’ve done. But they certainly don’t feel that way when we’re working on them!
BUS WRAPS FOR FAIRFAX CONNECTOR
This week we’re all about bus wraps and more bus wraps! Check out the latest we worked on for Fairfax Connector. Believe it or not, this is only the SMALL bus. There was also a larger bus that was wrapped right after this one. If you attended Celebrate Fairfax this past weekend, you may have seen these awesome CSI bus wraps on display.
